Relax by the Arabian Sea with Authentic Yoga, Real Indian Culture & a Truly Transformative Experience.
All set in the magical, bohemian atmosphere of our beachside home in Arambol, Goa, at the Kunal Yoga School.
This yoga retreat at Kunal Yoga School is thoughtfully designed with a therapeutic focus, helping students explore the healing benefits of asanas through mindful alignment and personalized adjustments. We make use of props such as belts, blankets, stools, blocks, and bolsters to support each practitioner in finding comfort, depth, and stability in every pose.
At Kunal Yoga School, we stay true to the roots of authentic Indian yoga while adapting practices to suit each individual’s body and needs. We welcome all levels of experience, backgrounds, and ages—our philosophy is that yoga is for everyone.
Each day, we offer two yoga classes—one in the morning and one in the evening. The sessions are balanced between gentle and dynamic styles, giving you the freedom to energize your body or calm your mind based on what you need. You’re welcome to attend both classes or just the ones that suit you—this retreat is about listening to your own rhythm.
In addition to the daily classes, we host a variety of engaging workshops that explore different dimensions of yoga, including anatomy, yoga philosophy, pranayama, and meditation. These sessions are designed to deepen your understanding and give you tools to enrich your own practice even after the retreat ends. Participants can select two workshops that resonate most with their personal goals and interests.
To immerse yourself fully in the experience, we also invite you on a guided outing to discover the beauty and spirit of the local area. Whether it’s the natural charm of the coastline in Arambol, Goa or the lively culture of the village, this trip offers a unique taste of Indian life and tradition.

Arambol is a vibrant seaside village known for its laid-back energy, stunning natural surroundings, and diverse cultural experiences. When you’re not practicing yoga, you can stroll along Arambol Beach, take a dip in the ocean, or simply relax under a palm tree with a fresh coconut in hand. The sunsets here are truly magical and often accompanied by drum circles, dancing, or local art performances.
Just a short walk from the beach lies Sweet Water Lake, a hidden freshwater lagoon perfect for a peaceful swim or meditation by the water. A hike further into the lush green trails will bring you to the Banyan Tree Forest, a serene place often used for informal spiritual gatherings and silent reflection.
The heart of Arambol village is full of colorful markets, organic cafes, live music spots, and local artisans selling handmade clothes, jewelry, and wellness products. You’ll find a blend of Indian tradition and international influence here, where yoga practitioners, artists, and travelers from around the world mingle in harmony.
Want to explore more? You can rent a scooter or bike and discover nearby beaches like Mandrem, Ashwem, or Morjim, each offering their own unique vibe. Whether you’re in the mood for a lively beach café, a quiet cove, or an Ayurvedic massage, it’s all within easy reach.
