At Mahi Yoga we provide 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Dharamshala. A prerequisite to joining our 300-hour yoga teacher training is that the applicant must have completed, successfully, recognized 200-hour yoga teacher training, this may be with Mahi Yoga or another recognized school. After completion of the 300-hour yoga teacher training the student will be qualified as a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
Our Multi-Style Yoga Course offers training in Hatha (traditional & therapeutic), Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Vinyasa Yoga, all Yoga Alliance, USA-certified.
The 200-hour course builds a strong foundation in yoga knowledge and teaching techniques.
The 300-hour advanced course refines skills, focusing on intelligent sequencing, hands-on adjustments, props usage, and subtle yoga anatomy to develop confident teachers.
Blending theory, practice, and meditation, our courses provide a holistic, experiential learning approach. While designed for teachers, they also benefit dedicated practitioners.

At Kunal Yoga School, yogic cleansing practices are taught in a safe and hygienic environment. You will learn techniques such as Shankh Prakshalana (colon cleansing), Jala and Sutra Neti (nasal cleansing), and Trataka (focused gazing). These practices are introduced gradually and systematically, tailored to each student’s ability and comfort, ensuring you receive their full benefits.
Each day begins with a pranayama (breath control) practice, where our instructors guide you through breath awareness and the fundamentals of various breathing techniques. The practice is paced individually, allowing you to deepen your understanding and personal experience gradually. As you advance, you’ll also learn how to teach the pranayama techniques you’ve mastered.
Mantra chanting, a sacred sound practice, is taught with careful attention to correct pronunciation and meaning. Through regular practice, students develop confidence in chanting and gain an appreciation for the significance behind each mantra, preparing them to lead chants with ease.
Advanced practitioners will conclude each day with a meditation session. You will begin by experiencing a variety of meditation styles offered throughout the course, then progress to developing and leading your own guided meditation with confidence.
Some of the meditation styles you will explore include Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), Osho dynamic meditations, sitting meditations, and walking meditations.
At Kunal Yoga, we recognize Ayurveda as a powerful companion to your yogic journey. In this course, you’ll explore how to live in harmony with your Dosha—your unique body-mind constitution—by integrating Ayurvedic principles into your daily routine and yoga practice.
Our experienced Ayurvedic practitioners will introduce you to the core concepts of Ayurveda, including its history, philosophy, anatomy, and holistic healing approach. You’ll also discover how to align with the seasons, promote balance through food and lifestyle, and deepen your self-awareness.
As part of this experience, you’ll get hands-on in the kitchen, learning to prepare simple, nourishing Ayurvedic meals designed to support and balance all Dosha types.

Even if you don’t have a formal 200-hour certificate, you may still be eligible if you demonstrate readiness for advanced study.
The 300-hour certification is an advanced level of training that builds upon the foundational 200-hour program.
